Runnerd is a running coach and a serious analytics app in one, for iPhone and Mac. It reads your runs from Apple Health, builds a training plan around your goal and your ambition, and explains every recommendation. Readiness, fitness and form, race predictions and running economy are computed with transparent sports-science models (Banister, Daniels VDOT, Karvonen), not with AI. No subscription, no account, no server of its own: your data stays in your private iCloud. An indie project by Norma Steller.

A coach that matches your ambition. Three coaches that differ in the plan, not just in tone. Goal and coach are matched; the run types you enjoy come up more often.
No blank slate. Runnerd reads the runs already in Apple Health, whatever recorded them, and knows where you stand from day one.
No AI. Real models. Readiness, form and predictions come from established sports science (Banister, Daniels VDOT, Karvonen) — explainable, not a black box.
Run analysis on the Mac. Runnerd is a native Mac app, not an iPhone app blown up: on the go on iPhone, in detail on the big screen.
No subscription. No account. No compromises. The app is free, Pro is a one-time purchase. No login, no server, no data collection — sync runs through the user’s private iCloud.
“The coaches who actually made me better were transparent, but always straight with me. A running app should be the same: not one that cheers me on, but one that tells me what my data means and what’s next. That’s exactly how the Coach in Runnerd talks.”
“A subscription for my own training data always bothered me — so Runnerd doesn’t have one, not as a feature but as a principle. I don’t want to sell runners their own data back every month and pretend I’m reinventing the wheel. Training analysis has been established science for decades — Runnerd just makes it accessible.”
