Apple Health knows that you ran. Runnerd knows what the run did to you — and what that means for tomorrow.
Runnerd records nothing — your Apple Watch does that. Runnerd turns it into training insight.
Serious running analysis has lived almost exclusively on the phone. Runnerd is a real native Mac app — not an iPhone app passed through. Years of training at a glance, with room for charts, splits and long trends.
No clicking through — just keep scrolling.
Every morning the readiness score shows how fit you are for load — from HRV, resting heart rate, sleep and training load. No guesswork. Your numbers.
A season timeline instead of loose training days: phases, weekly volume and race goals. Every run has its place, every week its purpose.
The performance management chart shows fitness, fatigue and form from your entire history. Plus personal bests, volume and streak.
The analysis tab breaks down your running economy: running power, aerobic efficiency, 80/20 intensity mix and TRIMP. Every term is explained.
Map, splits, heart rate zones, pace, elevation. Runnerd detects tempo, long and easy runs automatically — you tag nothing.
Every run is classified automatically — by effort curve, heart rate profile and pace distribution. You tag nothing.
Runnerd calculates with methods from training science, not from marketing. Every value has a name, a formula and an origin — and you can look them up.
CTL is your long-term fitness, ATL your current load, TSB your form today — computed daily from your runs.
Your heart rate zones from your personal resting and maximum heart rate — not from a one-size-fits-all table.
You enter your last race time. Runnerd tells you how fast easy, tempo and interval should be for you.
10 km easy and 6 × 1000 m intervals are not the same. TRIMP makes them comparable — volume and intensity in one number.
No email, no password. Just download and run.
No analysis of your behaviour. Apple’s privacy label says: data not collected.
No Runnerd server. Sync between iPhone and Mac runs exclusively through your private iCloud.
Runnerd is free and stays free. Pro unlocks the full analysis depth — paid once, one purchase for iPhone and Mac.

Three things. First: a real native Mac app, not an iPhone app passed through — serious running analysis on the big screen. Second: no AI, but named models from training science that you can look up. Third: a one-time purchase instead of a subscription, one purchase for both devices.
No. Runnerd records nothing itself — it reads your runs from Apple Health. Recording is handled by your Apple Watch or any app that writes to Apple Health.
Yes — Runnerd reads from Apple Health. If you record runs with another app and they land in Health, Runnerd works. Heart-rate-based analyses need HR data — the Apple Watch delivers it most reliably.
No. Runnerd uses the Banister model for training load, the Karvonen formula for heart rate zones and Daniels VDOT for pace predictions. All algorithms have names and foundations. No machine learning, no black box.
A value between 0 and 100 showing how ready you are for load today. It is calculated from four factors: HRV (30%), resting heart rate (20%), sleep (25%) and TSB from the PMC (25%). It gets more precise with more data.
In your iCloud. Runnerd has no server of its own. Your run data comes from Apple Health; syncing between iPhone and Mac runs exclusively through your private iCloud (CloudKit) — encrypted via Apple’s infrastructure.
Your runs live in Apple Health — which only exists on the iPhone, not on the Mac. The iPhone reads them from Health and syncs them to the Mac via your private iCloud. On the Mac you then get the big screen for analysis.
Runnerd is free and stays free. Pro unlocks the full analysis depth — a one-time €8.99, one purchase for iPhone and Mac. No subscription.
German and English, in the app and on this site. Runnerd is available worldwide on the App Store.
